General Training

Quality

Thanks to our quality assurance system, we are able to improve our quality on a continual basis.
The qualification of the instructor plays a major role in this respect. Our instructors not only have
experience and expertise they also know how to transmit
their knowledge. As a client you can expect instructors with a long and successful professional
track record, and the necessary teaching competencies and skills to leverage their experience
to your benefit.

        

Practice-based

On request, training can be tailored to your organization's specific requirements. Your crew member
thus becomes operational faster and more efficiently.
 

Training tools

We use modern training tools in our instruction. This includes CBT programs for aircraft systems as
well as PC-based FMS trainers and flight guidance
computer trainers. We have contracts with all our simulator operators which means within JAA
countries and simulators based outside JAA (USA and Turkey).

   

Instructors  

Our instructors are generally active crew members flying for various airlines as commander or co-pilot and
they have experience of training both internal
and external within several areas.Training is therefore fully based on current practice, allowing the candidate
to benefit from the up-to-date flying technique
and experience of the instructor.

Agreement
  

All stipulations and engagements agreed upon between the client and Braathens Training are documented
in a training agreement signed by both parties or their legal representatives.
 

Fees

Our proposals are individually priced, allowing us to take into consideration the specific needs of the operator
and the individual background of each
candidate.


   
 

Training venue

Depending on the type and duration of a program, training can be run at any site of your choice that offers the
required infrastructure.All of our training is fully JAA approved and recognized by all JAA member states.
